System requirements

The Hallmark Directory is designed for use on PCs, workstations/terminals and laptops running Windows 95-98, ME and NT4 and 2000, XP or 2003 (including Windows Terminal Server and other varieties of the server OS).

A desktop PC should have a Pentium processor equivalent, and with a minimum of 16MB RAM. A space of 80MB is also needed to install the program.

For easy administration it is ideal for network deployment from a server or on a peer-to-peer network.

The Hallmark Directory is NOT run from CD-ROM so no need to keep hunting for disks, or having a CD-ROM drive occupied all the time. It is run from the server or hard drive of your PC. This makes it much faster, more convenient and easy to maintain and update.

The Hallmark Directory can be networked in office systems to as many users or terminals as may require it (subject to licence granted by the publisher). The network may be administered under any Windows 32-bit operating systems, for desktop or servers, and the features shown here are available to each user with the appropriate permissions.

Additional licences are also available for individual members of chambers or solicitors' firms, or other office, for their personal use on separate computers, such as their laptop computers or at home.

The Directory is an ideal office tool. It is made to work with all other standard office applications, as information can be extracted and copied and used with other applications such as word processors and spreadsheets.
